Restaurant Services
At the ALFONSO VIII GUESTHOUSE we have a restaurant with capacity for 200 people, and disabled access. It is open to guests and general public, and hosts weddings, Holy Communions or any other kind of celebrations. Enlarge photo In the restaurant you can enjoy our barbecue with selected meats and home-made cured meats, as well as Manchego cheese and ham from Salamanca. From our specialities, we recommend: - Gazpacho manchego (a hot rich soup). - Atascaburras (purée of potatoes, cod and garlic topped with boiled egg). - Migas Ruleras (fried breadcrumbs or semolina). - Ajo-pringue (pork liver and fat cooked with bread and garlic). - Gachas (sort of shepherd's porridge). - Patatas a lo pobre (potato dish). - Creme caramel. We also have a bar offering drinks and a dining room serving: - Breakfast: € 5. - Lunch: € 12. - Dinner: € 12.
